Volunteers are the heartbeat of More Than A Smile. Opportunities vary by program and event, and we match volunteers to roles based on skills, availability, and interests. Volunteers working directly with children may be required to complete an application, background check, orientation, and youth-safeguarding training.
Help set up, run, and break down community events like Engagement Nights and the Annual International Cup.
Spend time with young people in our programs tutoring, coaching, or simply being a consistent, caring presence.
Help bridge language barriers at events, in programs, or for families navigating resources.
Offer your professional skills like graphic design, photography, legal aid, healthcare, finance, or marketing.
Provide supervised childcare during evening programs so parents can fully participate.
Help with data entry, communications, grant research, or other behind-the-scenes work that keeps us running.
